It’s fresh and contemporary, with an international look that reflects AMEC’s expanding presence in the global marketplace. For the past 14 years, AMEC has grown from a start-up semiconductor equipment company to a leading semiconductor equipment company in China. We’re thrilled to mark the next phase of our journey with a new image.
The new logo retains the original graphical foundation based on the concept of capacitor and the Chinese character “中”. The elliptical curve swaps the old structure for a newly dynamic look, indicating the notion of infinite change, an active attitude of embracing everything, especially new ideas, and a mix of firmness and flexibility. Remaining largely unchanged, the graphic symbol is adjusted in a more aesthetical way which looks more memorable and impactful. Notice the curved design of the letters. This creative touch was inspired by the clever brains that engineer AMEC’s amazing technologies. The font switched from serif to sans serif to present a solid, stable and modern appearance, while matching the graphic symbol. The color remains the same – a strong, impactful and memorable shade of blue.
Overall, the new logo conveys a flexible, dynamic and contemporary look. It is upgraded while retaining AMEC’s spirit, which conveys the continuity that characterizes AMEC’s technology innovation and service to customers and reinforces our pledge to deliver exceptional technologies and terrific support. At the same time, we actively embrace change and strive to achieve great success.
From now on, the logo will be updated on our website, WeChat platform, news advertisements, promotional materials and other places where the logo is featured. The original logo is still valid during the period of logo transformation.
