We ended July on an exceptional note with our IPO on the Science & Technology Innovation Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE STAR Market). We begin August on another high note with the release of a White Paper by VLSIresearch showing that AMEC earned its first Triple Crown win in the 2019 Customer Satisfaction Survey (CSS). We announced the primary results when the CSS was published in May. The new White Paper reveals additional data on our rankings.

The Triple Crown accolade is for AMEC’s rankings in three survey categories: RANKED 1st, 10 BEST, and THE BEST. AMEC is the first China-based Triple Crown winner in the history of the CSS.
AMEC was RANKED 1st in Deposition Equipment, earning a maximum rating of 5 VLSI Stars. AMEC also achieved a 5 VLSI Star rating in the 10 BEST Focused Supplier of Chip Making Equipment category with an “exceptional score of 9.01”. AMEC is the first China-based company to earn a 5 VLSI Star rating.
The 2019 CSS results were released by VLSIresearch in May. AMEC was ranked third in THE BEST Suppliers of Fab Equipment survey category. We also ranked second in two additional categories: the 10 BEST Focused Suppliers of Chip Making Equipment, and THE BEST Suppliers of Fab Equipment to Specialty Chip Makers.
The CSS, which began in 1988, is the only survey of its kind that lets customers in all regions provide anonymous feedback on their overall experience with worldwide suppliers of semiconductor equipment and subsystems. For the second year in a row, AMEC is the only China-based company to be recognized in the list of winners that includes companies from the US, Europe and Asia.
